ReUse-apalooza

A one-of-a-kind fundraiser featuring one-of-a-kind art!

WOW! You raised $75,000! THANK YOU!

This evening celebrated sustainability with unique live entertainment, local bites and brews, and a wide variety of creatively re-purposed furniture and home décor.

A big thank you to all the amazing designers who contributed their time and creativity to our Designer Challenge Auction. Congratulations to the winners whose items received the highest bids for the evening:
First place for “Five Panel Bookcase”  – Art Vogt of A Work of Art
Art also received the Audience Choice Award for “Most Watched”
Second place for “Two Tables, A Bird and A Fish” – David Rueve
Third Place for “Pallet Pub” – Ryan Ridgley of Barnrat Studio

Check out photos on Facebook page!

Entertainment included a live DJ and a return of the Lip Sync Battles, as well as a Living Statue, origami artists, award-winning magician Brett Sears (who blew people’s minds last year), and jugglers from Cincinnati Circus. Local foods were delicious, including Babushka Pierogies, Django Western Taco, Ruth’s Parkside Cafe, and more!

And of course, the Designer Challenge, Cincinnati’s craziest and craftiest auction! Professional and amateur artists celebrate the beauty of second changes by creating something new out of salvaged materials.

All proceeds benefited Easterseals programs like Building Value that break down barriers to employment.

Special thanks to our ReUse-apalooza Event Chair: Barbara Scull, President, The Alleen Company
