AMORÉ: Celebrating Building Value’s 15th Anniversary

Graphic for AMORE Art Made of Reusable Elements event

Thank you for helping us raise more than $94,000 to support Building Value’s mission!

Over the past 15 years, Building Value has kept more than 5,000 tons of reusable material out of landfills, completed more than 450 deconstruction projects, and trained more than 250 people for sustainable careers in the construction industry.

When you give to Building Value, you are joining a movement in Greater Cincinnati. You are providing a second chance to people who are eager to work – but don’t always have the support they need to achieve success.

You still have time to make an anniversary gift to Building Value and help us reach our goal of raising $100,000 in support of our mission!

Thank you, artists!

We had 36 local artists contribute amazing works of art made of reusable materials. Congratulations to our these artists who earned high marks from our jurors.

First: Scottie Bellissemo | “Untitled”

This untitled artwork is made of kiln-dried wood

Second: Adrian Hawk | “Repairing What I Value”

Three pieces of art made of wood, book clippings, and red string

Third: Ryan Slattery | Singer Sally

Singer Sally is a sculpture made of a singer sewing machine, a chandelier, and welding blanks
