How to Help
Donate Your Items
Donations of building materials are considered charitable contributions and may be tax deductible.
Material donations are accepted at the retail store Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm and Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm.
We also pick up donations of value. There may be a small service fee to pick up, depending on items and location distance. Visit our Retail Outlet page for a list of accepted materials.

Materials We Accept
Cabinetry
- Kitchen & bathroom cabinets, free of damage beyond simple repair. Please include all doors and drawers, ideally intact
- Particle board cabinets in very good condition
Appliances
Appliances in good working order:
- Refrigerators
- Ovens
- Washing machines
- Dryers
- Stoves – gas & electric
- Dishwashers
- Working hot water heaters
- AC units
- Small appliances
Lumber & Trim
- Any lumber and trim over 4′ that is in good sellable shape.
- Plywood that is at least 4′ x 4′
Doors
- Aluminum screen doors with complete frame
- Commercial doors
- Hollow core pre-hung doors in reusable condition
- Hollow core panel doors
- Residential security doors with or without frame
- Solid wood doors
Windows
All windows must be complete with a frame
- Double thermal pane vinyl, wood & aluminum
- Thermal pane with seals intact
- Single panel wood sash windows and windows that have been repaired
- Picture windows up to 32 sq. ft.
We request that you call ahead for larger windows
Sinks
Kitchen and bathroom sinks – free of chips, cracks, deep scratches, and severe staining
Bathtubs
Bathtubs and shower pans – free of chips, cracks, deep scratches, and severe staining
Toilets
Toilets and urinals – free of chips, cracks, deep scratches, and severe staining
Flooring
• Laminate and engineered flooring in the box or used in resalable condition
• Vinyl flooring larger than 10′ x 10′
• Hardwood flooring in reuseable condition
• Flooring tile in reusable condition
Lighting
- Lighting – New and used light fixtures in good usable condition
- New in the box light bulbs
- Sorry, no fluorescent bulbs can be accepted
Masonry
- Bricks
- Concrete block
- Garden pavers
- Kitchen tile (full boxes only)
- Bathroom tile (full boxes only)
- Tile – flooring and wall tile, new and old, in resalable condition
Gardening
- Bird baths
- Tools
- Planters
- Tomato fencing
- Patio furniture

- Flowerpots and urns
- Decorative yard art

- Firepits
Stairs
We accept banisters, newel posts, and handrails that can be reused in residential properties. Stairs and spiral stairs in good condition
Everything Else
- Ceiling tiles (2’x2′, 2’x4′) (accepted at staff discretion)
- Drywall/sheetrock in full or half sheets
- Other sheet goods larger than 4’x4′
- Fluorescent lighting fixtures (NOT bulbs)
- Hardware
- Indoor/outdoor lighting
- NEW Carpet
- Office furniture (accepted at staff discretion)
- Plumbing fixtures
- Hand and power tools
- Wooden window blinds and wooden curtain rods

- Used lightbulbs, fluorescent bulbs, and ballasts
- Mini-blinds
- Non-working appliances
- Paint, oil paints or stains
- Plain hollow-core doors
