We’re thrilled to launch Building Value’s Builders Club which invites YOU—our biggest supporters, DIY champs, and sustainability advocates—to help spread the word and showcase the amazing things you’re doing with salvaged materials.

Whether you’re a social media superstar or a weekend warrior with a love for repurposing, there’s a place for you in the Builders Club. And yes—there are perks, prizes, and exclusive merch involved!

What’s the Builders Club All About?

The Builders Club is our way of celebrating the people who keep Building Value going strong—customers, creatives, and advocates like you. Members can join in one of two fun and flexible ways:

Brand Advocate

Perfect for: Social media fans, local influencers, long-time customers, sustainability champions

Your Role:

Post about Building Value on Instagram, Facebook, or Threads at least twice a month
Create an in-store reel, show off a favorite find, or gush about something you saw
Tag @BuildingValue and use your platform to share what makes us special

Remake Artist

Perfect for: DIYers, upcyclers, artists, designers, home renovators

Your Role:

Send us your before/after pics of Building Value finds you’ve repainted, reimagined, or refurbished
Share your DIY progress or how you’ve incorporated our salvaged materials into your space, art, or project

One of our awesome customers recently breathed new life into a set of old, rusty metal shelf brackets.

With a little elbow grease and a coat of glossy enamel paint, the intricate rose and leaf details on the brackets now pop!

What was once forgotten and rusted is now a beautiful focal point.

Our customers are living proof that a little creativity (and a lot of reuse) goes a long way.

Long-time Building Value supporter and Reuseapalooza Designers Challenge artist David Rueve transformed his transformed his living room in Saranac Lake, NY into a beautiful new kitchen.

David used cabinets he sourced from our store right here in Cincinnati--that’s a journey from zip code 45223 to 12983!

In David’s words: "Sadly, there is no Building Value, or anything like it, in Saranac Lake."

We’re proud to be the resource he could count on for quality, reclaimed materials that make a house a home.
