These are the kind of beams woodworkers wait years to find. Milled from old-growth western red cedar, they average 23 feet long and 5.5 inches deep, with the tight, dense grain and deep color that only comes from trees that took centuries to grow. Trees of this age and size aren’t harvested anymore, so modern lumber simply can’t match it.
Cedar’s natural resistance to rot and insects makes these beams a standout for outdoor builds like pergolas, pavilions, and garden structures. Indoors, they’re ready to become statement mantels, exposed ceiling beams, benches, or a live-edge-style tabletop with a story behind it. And yes, that unmistakable cedar aroma still comes through decades after they were first milled.
Quantities are limited, and once they’re gone, there’s no restocking old-growth cedar.
Reclaimed and sold as-is. Beams show wear from their previous use, including nail holes, some embedded nails and metal hardware.
