Photo Gallery: Building Value Marches (and Floats!) in the Northside 4th of July Parade
If you’ve ever been to the Northside 4th of July Parade, you know it’s no ordinary celebration. It’s a beloved Cincinnati tradition full of color, creativity, and community pride—and this year, Building Value was proud to be a part of it!
We rolled into the parade with a float that was as one-of-a-kind as our store itself. Built entirely from salvaged materials—think stair spindles, pipes, light switch plates, and other unexpected treasures from around our retail outlet. Our float was a rolling tribute to reuse, resourcefulness, and the power of second chances. It was funky, functional, and 100% Building Value.
Big shoutout to our incredible deconstruction crew and their families, who didn’t just help build the float—they brought the energy, the laughs, and the DIY spirit that made it one of the most fun days our staff has had all year. From start to finish, it was a true team effort.
We’re so grateful to the Northside neighborhood for welcoming us into such a vibrant celebration. Like Building Value, Northside is full of character, creativity, and people who care about community—and we couldn’t imagine a better place to spend the Fourth.
Here’s to building memories, building community, and, of course, building value. See you next year, Northside!
