This secretary desk carries a brass Polo Ralph Lauren plaque inside the drawer, and it has all the old-world character of the brand’s classic home collections. It’s finished in a sage green crackle paint with soft distressing, and the top is crowned by an arched bonnet pediment with hand-carved scrolls.

Behind the two arched, raised-panel doors, the upper hutch opens to a warm stained-pine interior with an adjustable shelf and pre-drilled cord holes, so it’s ready for books, displays, or even a small TV or electronics. Below, the slant front folds down into a writing surface and reveals a row of pigeonholes and a small center drawer for letters, stationery, and keepsakes. Four drawers below (two short over two long) have iron bail pulls and sit above a shaped apron with bracket feet.
